How to reply to — and share — a song someone sent you
Reply privately to anonymous senders, feature songs on your page, and turn dedications into story images, videos and stickers.

Getting a song is fun. Doing something with it is what keeps people sending more. SASG gives you three ways to respond: a private reply, featuring the song on your page, and sharing it to your story.
Replying privately
Open the song in your inbox and tap Reply. Write up to 300 characters and send. Because the sender is anonymous, SASG can't notify them — instead, your reply appears on the private link they received when they sent the song. Senders who saved that link will see it next time they open it.
- Keep it short. “This is literally my favorite song, thank you” is plenty.
- Ask a question if you want to know more: “Where did you hear this?”
- You can edit a reply later by replying again; the newest version replaces the old one.
Featuring a song on your page
Tap the star on any song to feature it. Featured songs appear on your public page under “Songs people have sent you”, with the sender's note (if any) and your reply. The sender's identity is never shown. You can feature up to six songs at once — un-star an older one to make room.
Featuring is a great way to set the tone of your page. Visitors see what kinds of songs you've loved and send more like them.
Sharing to your story
Tap Share on a song to choose a format:
- Story image — a 9:16 card with the album art, song, and note. Ready for Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat stories.
- Story video — the same card with the 30-second preview playing, so friends hear the song.
- Sticker — a transparent PNG you can place on top of your own story photo.
- Photo + song — pick a photo from your camera roll, drag the song card where you want it, and SASG bakes them into one video.
Each format comes in several card styles. On phones that support it, SASG opens the share sheet so you can post directly; otherwise the file downloads to your device.
Etiquette
- If a note mentions something personal, think twice before posting it publicly. The sender wrote it for you.
- Don't post hints or try to guess publicly who sent something. It defeats the point and can embarrass people.
- Share the songs you genuinely liked. It encourages more of the same.
