THE RULES, MADE READABLE

Terms of Service

Send songs, not harm

Use SASG to make someone's day — never to harass, threaten, impersonate or spam.

Your account, your job

Keep your password safe. What happens on your page is your responsibility.

Anonymous ≠ untouchable

We don't reveal senders to creators, but we act on abuse and follow the law.

Leave any time

Delete any song, or your whole account and everything in it, whenever you like.

These terms are an agreement between you and SASG (“we”, “us”) about using the website at this address and everything on it (the “Service”). By creating a link or sending a song you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use SASG.

1. Who can use SASG

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to consent to the processing of your data where you live (16 in some countries). If you're under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you using SASG.

2. Your account

Creating a link makes an account identified by your username and password. Keep your password private; you're responsible for anything that happens under your account. Usernames that impersonate someone else, infringe a trademark or are offensive may be reclaimed.

3. Sending songs

Anyone with a creator's link can send them a song and an optional short note without an account. Senders stay anonymous to the creator. A sender receives a private link to the song they sent where any reply from the creator appears — whoever has that link can see it, so keep it to yourself.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SASG — in a note, a reply, a profile, or a song choice meant as a message — to:

  • harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or stalk anyone;
  • post hate speech, or content that sexualises minors, or is sexually explicit, violent or gory;
  • share someone's private information, or encourage self-harm;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are on your page;
  • spam, send automated traffic, scrape the Service, or try to get around rate limits;
  • try to unmask anonymous senders, break our security, or access accounts that aren't yours;
  • break any law.

If you receive something that breaks these rules, delete it and block the sender from your hint panel, and report it to us. See the safety guide for more.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and upload (notes, replies, your bio, photos). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display it as needed to run the Service — for example, showing your page to visitors or a reply to the sender it was meant for. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in short-lived backups.

6. Music and third-party services

Song search results, artwork and 30-second previews come from Apple's iTunes Search API (and, as a backup, Deezer) and belong to their respective rights holders. SASG isn't affiliated with Apple, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram or TikTok. Previews are provided for personal listening; we don't host or sell music. Availability of any track can change at any time.

7. Advertising

SASG is free and supported by advertising served by Google AdSense on our public pages (the home page, guides, and pages like this one). Ads are never shown inside inboxes, on creator pages, or during sign-in. How ads use cookies is explained in the privacy policy.

8. Enforcement

We may remove content, rate-limit, suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. Where the law requires, we will preserve and disclose information to authorities in response to valid legal requests — note that, by design, we hold very little information about senders.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your inbox settings at any time. That permanently erases your page, every song sent to you, replies and profile-view records. Senders' private links to songs sent to you stop working.

10. No warranty

SASG is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running and secure, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will never be lost.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, SASG and its developer aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for anything sent to you by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as SASG changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; for significant changes we'll also post a notice in the app. Continuing to use SASG after a change means you accept the new terms.
